Nov 11th.Truro City of Lights Parade 2006 Truro. Cornwall.Lanterns made of willow and tissue paper are paraded through the streets of Truro, creating a spectacle of light. Each year thousands of people line the city streets to witness this favourite pre-Christmas celebration.

Nov. 26th - 29th. Made In Cornwall Christmas Fair - Truro
Held on the Lemon Quay Piazza, Truro, this four day Christmas Fair is a treat for those looking for something unusual for their friends and family.
There are over 90 stalls at the Fair, offering all types of goods and crafts from Food and Drink to Jewellery; From Pottery to Art and Textiles, Puzzles and Games.
There's something for everyone at this popular seasonal event.

Nov 29th.The Made in Cornwall Fair plays host to more than 70 local businesses from Bude to Penzance, selling a wide range of food, paintings, clothing, jewellery, woodcraft and ceramics. Lemon Quay, Back Quay,Truro.

CORNWALL EVENTS FOR-- DECEMBER 2008

Dec. 6th - 7th. Fowey Christmas Market 2008
Running from 10.00 am on Saturday 6th Dec 2008 to 4.00pm the following day, Fowey Christmas Market will be held in three heated marquees on The Quayside, Fowey.
Entertainment will include singing of carols, a craft fair, with over 80 traders promoting local food, drinks, and crafts.

Dec. 13th.Switching on of the Christmas Lights. Mousehole.

Dec. 13th - 14th.Trelissick Christmas Market.
Running from 10.00 am on Saturday 13th Dec 2008 to 4.00pm the following day, Trelissick Christmas Market will be held in a large heated marquee at Trelissick Gardens, Trelissick, Truro.
Entertainment will include seasonal singing of carols, a craft fair, as well as other stalls promoting local produce.

Xmas Carol Concert at Mary Newmans Cottage, Culver Road 6:30pm - 9:00pm Christmas evening with carols, an open fire, mulled wine and mince pies, it's the perfect start to your Christmas celebrations. Dec. 23rd Tom Bawcocks Eve
Tom Bawcock's Eve is a festival held on the 23rd of December in Mousehole, Cornwall, UK. The festival is held in celebration and memorial of the efforts of Mousehole resident Tom Bawcock to lift a famine from the village. During this festival Star Gazey pie (a mixed fish, egg and potato pie with protruding fish heads) is eaten and depending on the year of celebration a lantern procession takes place.
